• From Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal: Follow Highway 17 East towards Surrey (24km). Take Exit 23 - Hwy 91 and follow signs for Alex Fraser Bridge (Hwy 91 North to New Westminster, Richmond, Vancouver). Over the Alex Fraser Bridge, take the first exit, Exit 9 - Annacis Island. At the bottom of the exit ramp stay right at the fork to follow signs for Cliveden Avenue East. At the first traffic light turn right on Chester Road. At the first traffic light turn left on Derwent Way. Turn left on Annance Court (first street), follow to the end of the cul-de-sac.

• From Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal: Follow Trans-Canada Hwy 1 East signs for Vancouver (26km). Take Exit 28 – Boundary Road and travel 6km. Turn Left onto Marine Way East and travel 5km. Follow signs for Hwy 91A South towards Richmond Delta (left lane), cross the Queensborough Bridge and travel 4km. Take Exit 10 Annacis Island. At the bottom of the exit ramp stay left following signs for Cliveden Avenue East. At the first traffic light turn right on Chester Road. At the first traffic light turn left on Derwent Way. Turn left on Annance Court (first street), follow to the end of the cul-de-sac.

• From the Vancouver Airport: Follow signs for New Westminster Delta Surrey Hwy 99 Hwy 91, and continue onto Sea Island Way, about 4km. Use the right lane to Hwy 99 South to Hwy 91 New Westminster Delta Surrey, and travel 2km. Take Exit 37 Hwy 91 South New Westminster North Delta Surrey and travel 10km. Follow signs for Exit 11 Hwy 91A Annacis Island New Westminster. Take Exit 10 Annacis Island. At the bottom of the exit ramp stay left following signs for Cliveden Avenue East. ‍Reminders and Important Information

Payment in full is needed prior to drop-off of a vehicle at our Vancouver terminal and can be made through our online portal with Visa, Master card or American Express. You can also pay directly at the Vancouver branch office.

One form of government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the order is required to drop off and pick up your vehicle.

‍History of our Vancouver Office

In 1993, the plan to expand operations into the Vancouver area became a reality.  In partnership with the Washington Group’s Southern Railway of British Columbia (“SRY”), Hansen’s opened a branch office at the Annacis Auto Terminals site in 1994.

Instead of a traditional office trailer, a decommissioned rail caboose that served BC Hydro and the SRY was given a fresh paint job and complete interior renovation, to become our vintage office location.

In 2013 we were chosen to be the new operator for the SRY rail facility.  After years of hard work, we had outgrown the comfortable confines of the caboose, and it was retired and sold that year.  

Over the years, as our business grew, so did our fleet of trucks. In 2006, we began hauling new vehicles for car manufacturers to dealerships.  Originally intended to support our rail operations by offering one-stop-shop, door-to-door service, our fleet of two flatbed trucks has grown to over 40 carriers.

We have shipped thousands of cars including everything from older vintage cars to brand new vehicles destined for dealerships as well as one-of-a-kind specialty cars.

‍Charities Supported

At Hansen’s, community involvement is at the heart of our values. We proudly support local charities like the Greater Vancouver Food Bank and Fraser Valley Regional Food Bank, providing assistance during challenging times like the floods in 2021. In 2022, we contributed to Food Banks BC, and in 2023, we joined forces with the Breakfast Club of Canada to help local kids reach their full potential.
